Sup guys, this is mainly for justin, but if you wanted to know a lil bit about a good silencer read on...
From what i have read in Dsport, the APEXi active tail silencer works better than a conventional one... it is proven in dyno graphs and numbers, here i what i know of thus far...
this was tested on a WRX STi... No Silencer[/u] Idle....105 db 2000...111 db 3000...113 db 4000...117 db 5000...120 db 6000...125 db Peak HP...503.4 Peak Boost...19 psi Conventional Silencer[/u] Idle....104 db 2000...106 db 3000...106 db 4000...110 db 5000...116 db 6000...116 db Peak HP...294.3 Peak Boost...10 psi APEXi Active Tail Silencer[/u] Idle....94 db 2000...94 db 3000...102 db 4000...105 db 5000...109 db 6000...109 db Peak HP...421.9 Peak Boost...15 psi
So after viewing those db tests and power levels, you see that you get better performance with no silencer (duh!) but in your case (justin) you wanna be quiet and with the APEXi Active Tail Silencer you will be significantly quieter and lose alot less power than a conventional one...

Oh, Manu. I really appreciate you taking the time and effort to take my silencer off. I feel a huge boost in power now that its off. I clocked my car, and My time got lower by about .78 seconds. I was pretty happy. And, when i told you I got my car down to 15.3, thats what i got it down to. My usual time is about 16.5- 15.9 Not very good eh? But, oh well.
